From 5:00-7:00pm, Monday thru Friday, the bar features half-price cocktails and a selection of small plates for you to enjoy after a long day.

Delmonico, an icon in the New Orleans restaurant industry, has been in business since 1895. Chef Emeril Lagasse assumed ownership and direction over the restaurant in 1998, continuing the time honored traditions and high standards of service and cuisine, with an eye for his personal standard of perfection.

The grand two story structure, located on the famed St. Charles Avenue streetcar line in the Garden District, has undergone an extensive historic renovation. Downstairs features the main dining room, picturesque bar and player grand piano, private party rooms and Delmonico’s kitchen. The second floor houses an additional three dining rooms, with grass cloth, linen, and cotton upholstered walls, cypress paneling, large paned windows and a Venetian chandelier. A glass wall in The Crystal Room showcases Delmonico’s renowned wine cellar and cured meats used for the housemade charcuterie.

Just as the original Delmonico pioneered many of the Creole traditions that are fixtures of the oldest New Orleans restaurants, Emeril’s Delmonico continues to serve many of these Creole specialties to this day. Chef Emeril has added a sophisticated in-house dry aging program – one of the only in the city in which prime meats are dry-aged for 27 days. Chef de cuisine Spencer Minch brings a modern aesthetic to the table, as seen in his featured dishes: artisan Delmonico Charcuterie, Crispy Slow Cooked Pork with Creole Dirty Rice, Moroccan Spiced Colorado Lamb Sirloin with House Made Merquez Sausage and Pan Seared Cypress Island Salmon with Double Corn Spoon Bread and Wilted Mustard Greens.

Tableside preparation of the classic Caesar salad and decadent desserts, superb wine service, and a refined hospitality team lead by general manager Saleem Nawaz and sommelier Jason Lonigro, allow you to witness a classic style of Creole traditions at its best.
